I received my flies from the Allen Bro's and immediately had the itch to fish. After an hour of deciding where to go, I choose Bear Creek. Never been there, close to home and not swollen. A little scared I was gonna hook the many overhanging trees with my new Allen Bro's flies. I tried several different rigs, from the fishing report with no success. Tied on this Pheasant Tail as the lead with a juju beatis dropper. Hooked two browns in 15 minutes, both on the Pheasant Tail. Very impressed with this fly, attractive and gets down quick. Yes, I did end up loosing it on a rock in a deep pool. Was almost worth risking my life to get it back. LOL!
